Hola. ¿Sí? Soy un mexicano. Estoy harto. Harto de tanta corrupción, tanta desigualdad, tanta pobreza, y sobre toda tanta injusticia.

Me encanta ser patriota. Estoy a favor de cualquier cosa que le haga un bien al país, y el ambiente político que hemos vivido durante largas décadas ha sido una gran mierda.

Estamos bajo la opresión y ha medida que vamos avanzando parece que la cosa que se hace más y más grande.

Ahora estamos ante una guerra. Sí, señores. México está en guerra.

Hace unos días vi una noticia que acompañaba una peculiar imagen. 9 cuerpos colgados, 14 cabezas y un narco mensaje departe de uno de grupos de narcotráfico del país: Los Zetas. Puse la fotografía de los 9 cuerpos colgados en un post. Hasta el día de hoy ese post(A normal day in Mexico) tiene casi 2000 notes de reblogs y likes. Una cifra que va en aumento cada día. ¿Mi opinión? Me encanta. Qué todo el mundo se entera de las inmundicias que se viven aquí. Qué salgamos de nuestras casas y hagamos algo al respecto.

Como ultimamente lo dicen, hemos vivido 70 años dormidos, 12 años soñando y es el momento de despertar.

Los últimos días ha habido protestas, muchas protestas, en especial contra el partido que ha mantenido esa corrupción y su sobresaliente candidato: Enrique Peña Nieto.

Enrique es una cara bonita. Un exgobernador. De buena prosa. Habla con seguridad. Te mira a los ojos. Promete cosas. Promete cumplir. Pero su nombre y PRI son un sinónimo. Corrupción, violencia, manipulación, censura y un largo etcétera.

Por lo que más queremos hay que evitar que ese hombre llegue a la presidencia.

Solo para llamar la atención de todos ustedes volveré a poner esa misma imagen.

Activist prevents Israeli officer from arresting Palestinian child

During Sunday’s Jerusalem Day events, a Palestinian boy, perhaps 10 years old, was chased down an East Jerusalem street by a very angry officer of the Border Police. The boy tripped and fell, then picked himself up just as the Border Police officer reached him and tried to grab him. But a 22 year-old female Israeli activist prevented the boy’s arrest by throwing herself between the two, allowing the Palestinian boy to flee.

Jerusalem Day is meant to be a celebration of the city’s ‘reunification’ following Israel’s victory in the 1967 war. In practice, it is a day for Israeli nationalists, draped in flags, dancing in circles, singing and chanting (including the popular Israeli nationalist chant, ‘death to Arabs’) as they march through the streets of East Jerusalem and the Old City. Many of the Jewish demonstrators are bused in from right-wing yeshivas in Israel and the West Bank

This year, an Orthodox Jewish man grabbed the Palestinian flag from the hands of a 10 year-old boy and refused to return it. The boy, enraged, tried to prise it out of the Jewish man’s hands. A Border Police officer, seeing the struggle between a 10 year-old Palestinian boy and a fully grown Jewish man, chased the Palestinian boy rather than ordering the Jewish man to return the flag. Someone made a montage of the incident and posted it on Facebook, with commentary. Note the expression of rage in the Border Police officer’s eyes, as seen in the second photo.

In the end the boy got away, due to the intervention of a 22 year-old Israeli activist from Jerusalem named Sahar Vardi, who threw herself in front of the Border Police officer just as he was about to grab the child. Photojournalist Haim Schwarczenberg caught the incident.

The incident was also filmed and the clip posted on Youtube.

Marco Avila, a reporter in Sonora, Mexico was buried over the weekend after being found in a black garbage bag.

He’s the sixth current or former journalist killed in Mexico in less than a month. Considering the number of gruesome atrocities committed by the country’s drug cartels (the latest being the 49 decapitated, hand-less, foot-less bodies found on the side of a highway), it makes sense that the people covering the news in these areas have become targets too.
